FOK Cable Blowing Machine is a pneumatic cable jetting system for Ø9-22 mm fiber optic cables in Ø20-50 mm ducts. It is built for contractors who need a strong mid-range machine between small micro cable units and heavier hydraulic systems, with stable cable grip, dual air motors, and installation speeds up to 80 m/min.
For telecom backbone, metro, feeder and large FTTx routes, FOK gives you a broader working range than compact micro cable machines while staying easier to transport and set up than larger hydraulic models. Under suitable cable, duct and compressor conditions, the official datasheet states a maximum installation distance of up to 3000 m for a 12 mm cable in a 40 mm duct.

The FOK Cable Blowing Machine is designed for installing fiber optic cables into pre-installed telecom ducts with compressed air and controlled pushing force. Its working range makes it suitable for medium and larger cable diameters where compact micro cable machines are not enough, but a full hydraulic unit would be excessive for the job.
The machine uses two pneumatic motors, a cable aligning system, interchangeable pallet sets, duct connection tools and integrated lubrication functions to keep cable feed stable. This matters in the field because unstable grip, air leakage and poor alignment are exactly how installers waste time, damage jackets and kill distance performance.
FOK is also a practical machine from a commercial point of view. One frame can cover multiple cable diameters by changing pallet sets and aligning parts, so distributors and contractors do not need to stock several different mid-range machines for nearby capacity bands.

One machine covers a serious part of mid-size fiber installation work with pallet options for 9-13 mm, 14-18 mm and 19-22 mm cables.
FOK handles common telecom duct sizes used in feeder, backbone and infrastructure installations, so it is easier to deploy across mixed projects.
Higher speed matters when the duct is well prepared and the compressor is correctly sized. That is where labor efficiency shows up in real money, not in brochures.
Dual air motors help maintain cable feed stability and reduce slippage compared with weak or badly balanced drive systems.
The official FOK datasheet states up to 3000 m at once for a 12 mm cable in a 40 mm duct under suitable site conditions and setup quality.
Duct lubrication, air motor lubrication, quick connection and direction control are built into the working logic of the machine, not treated like afterthoughts.

Bigger compressors can improve performance on long routes and help compensate for suboptimal duct conditions, but they do not magically fix a bad duct line. Humans remain committed to hoping otherwise.

Make sure the duct is clean, continuous and free from restrictions. Distance results always collapse first at the duct, then people blame the machine.
Match pallet size and cable aligning parts to the actual cable diameter. Wrong sizing creates slippage, jacket marking or poor airflow efficiency.
Align the cable path with the machine axis and adjust pulley spacing so the cable enters centrally and does not jump out of position.
Use a 1" air hose with the quick connection. Keep duct pressure around 10.5 bar minimum, air motor pressure around 6.5-7 bar, and pallet pressure around 2-4 bar.
Use the duct lubrication system to reduce friction in the duct and adjust the air motor lubrication rate so the motors keep running smoothly.
Use the direction control valve to set cable movement. When changing direction, stop first. Forcing a direct reverse is how people damage gears and then act surprised.
That means configuration matters before quotation. Correct pallet and duct tooling selection is where the real package value is defined.

One machine + one pallet set + one cable aligning set + one duct connection tool. If the customer wants wider cable coverage, add the extra pallet and alignment sets instead of forcing one setup to do everything badly.

The machine supports Ø20 mm to Ø50 mm duct outer diameters with the appropriate duct connection tool.
The official maximum speed is 80 m/min. Real field speed depends on duct quality, cable structure, air supply and installer setup.
The official datasheet states up to 3000 m at once for a 12 mm cable in a 40 mm duct. Actual result depends heavily on duct route quality, sealing, friction, compressor output and cable characteristics.
A minimum compressor capacity of 10.5 m3/min at 12 bar is recommended. Duct pressure should be around 10.5 bar minimum during operation.
No. Air compressor, lubricant oil and air cooler are not included in the standard FOK package.
To prepare the correct machine package, send the cable outer diameter, duct outer diameter, route length and compressor details. That prevents the usual mess of quoting a machine correctly but the tooling incorrectly.
